Molly was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She began her professional life at the age of thirteen in Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her nomination was for an Barrymore Award nominee for her character of Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. In 2002, she performed the same role as Into the Woods in Broadway at the age of 15 and received an Drama League Award nomination. Molly was also a part of the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. Molly attended Princeton University as a Triangle Club member and graduated with a B.A. In 2008, she graduated with a B.A. In this period, she made her debut in the role of Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Molly has worked on TV shows, such as Royal Pains, and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has appeared in a variety of regional plays, among them The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee performed by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 as well as the North Shore Music Theatre's 2010 production The Diary of Anne Frank at the Westport Country Playhouse in which Molly performed the role of Anne. Molly is most well-known for her performance in the 2010 movie Paranormal Activity 2 in which she portrays a teenaged daughter Ali and also in the ABC comedy produced by Jack burditt and with Tim Allen entitled Last Man Standing
