Alison Doody

Alison Doody is a Dublin native from the richest family of Dublin In Ireland, in the year 1966. She was the youngest of three. At a convent, she developed an interest in the arts. Then she was enrolled at the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin in Ireland, but quit because she lacked the motivation and decided to take a year off to consider the idea. As she was sitting with friends in a coffee shop where a photographer walked in, she was inquired if she would like to act as a model. As if she had pocket money, she said yes. Then she discovered that modeling could be both exciting and lucrative. Modeling contracts lead to commercial projects which took her across the globe. A casting director noticed the work she was modeling and encouraged her to take up acting. The director sent her to London at age 19, which was where she won an audition to appear in the upcoming James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). It was her dream to act so she chose to work as an actor. She directed TV dramas, both in London and Dublin in the wake of her debut movie. However, her most memorable break came when she was cast for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as the Aryan seductress, the Dr. Elsa Schneider. Alison Alison Alison
